About Mark

Entertaining expert Mark Addison has had an insatiable curiosity about cooking, designing and entertaining since he was very young. His personal style and love of creating ‘the perfect experience’ has made him a sought after voice on all things chic and clever – from home entertaining and signature drinks to design and cooking.  Great living doesn’t have to empty the wallet.

At age 7 Mark mastered donut making and at 13, he began hosting dinner parties for his siblings and neighborhood friends, developing his signature meals that are still requested at family gatherings. A native of Miami, Florida, he enrolled in culinary classes while still in high school and added a hefty dose of theatrics and presentation while studying theater in college and working as a catering chef.

Shortly after moving to NYC, Mark started his own company, EVENTSTYLE, where he merged his talents in entertaining, food, drinks and design. EVENTSTYLE became the “go-to” company for celebrity events, major product launches and huge non-profit galas.

Mark has been graced with a big personality, a wildly creative imagination, and a passion to “make it happen”. He approaches a recipe or design challenge by deconstructing it, then reviving it with his own unique inspiration to create for the viewer a fresh perspective on even the most classic tradition – blue prints are included.
