To make these homemade haut chocolats, you can add your favorite fruits, spices, nuts, and candies to create an assortment. I used Wilton Candy Melts as my chocolate base, they come in variety of flavors and a plethora colors .
The candies and toppings I recommend are:
- Wilton Dark Chocolate Candy Melts
- Wilton Milk Chocolate Candy Melts
- Wilton White Chocolate Candy Melts
- Wilton Peanut Butter Candy Melts
- Wilton Red Candy Melts
- Wilton Green Candy Melts
- Dried Fruit – Mandy, Apple, Fig, and Cranberries

- Coconut
- Cashews, Peanuts, Almonds
- Candy Canes
- Chocolate Chips
- Smoked Salt
- Chopped Pistachios
Steps to MYO Holiday Haut Chocolat:
1. Cover a ceramic plate with parchment paper. Lay the Wilton Candy Melts on the plate with 1 inch of space between each candy. Heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until candies are soft.
2. Once melted, use a knife to spread out the candy melts in a circular motion.

3. Top the melted chocolates with your favorite gourmet and exotic ingredients.

4. Place in the freezer for approximately 5-10 minutes until hardened. The hardened candies are easily removed from the parchment paper.
5. Display candies on a serving plate. You may also display the candies in small clear plastic bags. The candies make great hostess gifts.
