St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party
Throw a more formal St. Patrick’s Day themed dinner party this year! Use my menu that’s complete with Irish ingredients, classic and Irish themed recipes, signature cocktails, and spirited desserts as well as my tips below to leave your guests green with envy!
St. Patrick’s Day, the “Day of the Festival of Patrick,” falls on March 17 of each year. This day is a cultural and religious holiday named after St. Patrick, one of the most well-known patron saints of Ireland. For Christians, St. Patrick’s Day is the celebration and commemoration of Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, where the Lenten traditions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted. However, this day is celebrated more secularly as a day of Irish culture. Common traditions on this day include wearing green (don’t forget!), shamrocks, drinking green beer, and attending parades and festivals.
