Smoked turkey spread is a wonderful appetizer served on a toast point or crostini. It makes good use of leftover holiday turkey or extra deli meat. Chopped very fine and blended with cream cheese and herbs, this spreadable appetizer is a surefire crowd pleaser!
1 cup smoked turkey, finely chopped
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
1. Combine turkey, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and cayenne pepper in food processor and pulse until mixture is smooth. Do not over process.
2. Transfer to a medium bowl and fold in parsley and chives.
3. Spoon into a shallow decorative bowl and refrigerate until firm.
4. Garnish with chives.
5. Serve with your favorite crackers or flatbreads.
