A rock-inspired charity evening with unique artwork and creative partners during the week of The Big Game
Kill Kancer, a non-profit foundation started by Mary Beth Mueller, was created to educate society on “The Hateful Eight” preventable cancers. This year, January 29th, at 5:00pm, Martin Patrick 3 will team with legendary artist Mark Herman of Numeric Press to translate his famous screen print style into rock-inspired posters. Each poster will convey how to make preventable lifestyle changes to avoid getting the “Hateful Eight”. Within MartinPatrick 3’s 17,000 square foot men’s lifestyle boutique, a gallery wall will feature 2018’s Hateful Eight posters and individual prints will be available for purchase to benefit Kill Kancer. Mark Herman himself will be in attendance, answering questions and discussing his work.
In addition, Author, Designer, and Entertaining Expert, Mark Addison, will craft two cocktails, which are inspired by the two cities poised to play in Super Bowl LII. The cocktails will be served in a Baccarat tumbler, that will be sold for $50.00 each. Baccarat will donate 100% of the proceeds to Kill Kancer and patrons who purchase each signature cocktail in the Baccarat glass will own that glass. As well, attendees can purchase a signed copy of Mark Addison’s book Cocktail Chameleon (ASSOULINE, 2017) at the bar throughout the evening. The book was named the “Best in the U.S.” cocktail book by the Gourmand World Cookbook awards in December and chosen as one of the Top 6 in the world to compete for the global title in May in Yantai, China. To provide the finishing touch, John Varvatos, a rock-inspired apparel line, will have styled mannequins throughout the store.
