Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (350 degrees Fahrenheit for a dark or nonstick cookie sheet).
Using a pastry blender, combine cookie mix, flour, softened butter and egg in a medium bowl and stir until soft dough forms, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on a flat surface covered with flour. Sprinkle a light dusting of flour on top of the dough as well for easy rolling. Dough should be 1/8 inch in thickness after being rolled.
