This cocktail that tastes just like a delicious piece of freshly baked apple pie (minus the crust) and can be enjoyed hot or cold!
30 oz unfiltered apple juice
4 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise pods
6 oz Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
Place the apple juice in a large pot with whole cloves, cinnamon and star anise.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from the heat.
Ladle the mixture into six coffee mugs and add 1 oz of Spiced Rum to each mug.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
* to make a cold cocktail, allow stewed apple cider to cool, pour 5 oz. of apple cider and 1 oz.of rum into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake until well chilled and serve in a chilled cocktail glass.
