This festive hors d’oeuvres display is sure to be a hit at your holiday party! Using two garden trellis connes, you can make one sweet and one savory tree garnished with your favorite finger foods using Betty Crocker Cake Mix and Betty Crocker Cookie Mix and Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry.  The hors d’oeuvres are suspended on trellises with ornament hooks and ribbons making a fun party food experience!

  • Step 1

    In order to suspend the food onto the garden trellis, you will have to punch a small hole in the ornamental hors d’oeuvres with a small cookie cutter or straw before baking.

  • Step 2

    When making the cake balls, you can roll a piece of cooking twine into the ball for easy suspension. For my segment on Access Hollywood LIVE, I decided to take the tops off Christmas ball ornaments and glue them into the cake ball using Wilton Candy Melts. The was extremely easy and hanging them on the tree was perfect!

  • Step 3

    Once the hors d’oeuvres are cooled, string a piece of colored ribbon through the hole and tie a pretty bow. You can also suspend the hors d’oeuvres directly from the holes. On the different levels of the trellis, hang different sized ornament hooks to display the food.
