The Imitation Game is a historical thriller based on the biography, Alan Turing: The Enigma, by Andrew Hodges. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the British cryptanalyst Alan Turing, who helped solve the Enigma code during World War II and was later prosecuted for his homosexuality.

This cocktail is named after the name given to the Nazi code, Enigma. And much like the Enigma code, you can’t quite decipher what’s in it…

Ingredients

1 oz Coconut Rum
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Southern Comfort
1 oz Amaretto
1 oz Triple Sec
1 splash Cranberry Juice
1 splash Orange Juice
1 splash Grenadine
1 maraschino cherry
1 lime wedge

Directions

• Mix all of the ingredients (except grenadine, lime and cherry) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Pour over ice in a double old fashioned glass and drizzle Grenadine over the top. Garnish with a lime wheel and a cherry.
