1 package Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry, thawed
3 tbsp. Olive Oil
2 cloves Chopped Garlic
1 can Black Olives
½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 egg

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

    Unfold 1 pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.  Roll the pastry sheet so that it is ¼ inch in thickness.

    Using 3-4 inch holiday cookie cutters cut shapes out of the puff pastry.

    Mix olive oil and garlic together.  Lightly brush shapes with the mixture.

    Cut olives into thin slices.  You should get 3-4 slices per olive.

    Sprinkle the shapes with shredded mozzarella cheese and black olives.

    Beat the egg in a small bowl. Using a brush lightly coat the shapes with the egg wash.

    Repeat steps 1-7 with the remaining pastry sheet.

    Place on baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.  Remove the pastries from the baking sheets and let cool on wire racks.
