Recipe: Philadelphia Eagles EXCELSIOR!

The cocktail was inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles and a classic, fruity Philly Punch, enjoyed by 18th-century fishermen in the City of Brotherly Love.  The name comes from the cherished mantra of Pat, the character played by Bradley Cooper in the Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook, which takes place in Philadelphia.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Black Rum

1/2 oz. peach brandy

1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice

3 oz. ginger ale

garnish

2 peach wedges

2 Rainier cherries

1 lemon wheel

Cocktail shaker

Directions

• Fill the shaker with ice and add the rum, peach brandy, and lemon juice, shaking until well chilled. Pour into the tumbler and top with the ginger ale. Garnish with the fruit.
